Yusupov defeats Obeslo! Kudryashof inihilates Cox!
On saturday october 26th in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia:
Movsur Yusupov defeated Josef Obeslo by TD in round 8. Yusepov won the GBU Light Heavyweight Intercontinental crown.
Yusupov started very fast. Obeslo showed he has a lot of heart and a great chin. Yusupov gained the upperhand fast und countered well. In round 7 Yusupov suffered a servere cut after an accidental clash of heads. The bleeding continued in round 8, prompting the referee to stop the bout and go to the scorecards. Yusupov was ahead on all 3 scorecards, making him the winner by TD8.
28 year old Dmitry Kudryashof won the GBU Cruiserweight title by stopping former world title challenger Shwan Cox (Barbados) in 2 rounds. Kudryashof, strong from the beginning, chased Cox around the ring. Cox tried to counter, but the punches came in such great numbers that Cox could soon only try to avoid the final blow.
Kudryashof smelled victory and picked up the pace even more. Cox was hit mutiple times in round 2 and wen down and was counted out at 1:39.
New GBU Cruiserweight champion: Dmitry Kudryashow, who upped his record to 11-0.
